Multi-media filter

Working principle

The raw water passes through multiple layers of filter media from top to bottom. Coarse impurities are intercepted by the upper layer of large-diameter filter media, while fine colloids and suspended solids are deeply intercepted by the lower layer of fine filter media, gradually reducing the turbidity of the water.

After running for a period of time, when impurities accumulate in the filter layer, the equipment starts the automatic backwash process: the water flows from bottom to top to loosen the filter material, carrying impurities and discharging them with the sewage; After the positive wash reset, the filtration is restored, and the entire process is repeated to continuously and stably produce low turbidity influent, protecting the precision water treatment membrane system at the back end.

• Filter tank body: Carbon steel epoxy anti-corrosion/food grade 304 stainless steel integrated molding, pressure resistant and durable, with uniform water and air distribution inside, no bias or blind spots for filtration
• Layered composite filter material: smokeless coal, quartz sand, and supporting pebbles are packed in layers, with gradient filtration, large pollutant capacity, and long filtration cycle; High iron manganese water source can be customized with manganese sand filling material
• Fully automatic multi way valve: pneumatic/electric automatic control valve, one click to complete the entire process of filtration, backwashing, forward washing, and sewage discharge, without the need for manual operation
• Supporting pipeline instruments: inlet and outlet pressure gauges, flow observation ports, real-time monitoring of pressure difference, automatic triggering of backwash when pressure difference exceeds the standard
• Supporting accessories: filter cap, water distributor, air intake aeration device, evenly loosen the filter material during backwashing, and clean more thoroughly
• Optional configurations: PLC linkage self-control, anti-corrosion lined rubber tank body, on-site operation panel, online turbidity monitoring of water quality
