Working principle

The desalination equipment adopts a multi-stage pretreatment+single/double stage reverse osmosis+EDI deep desalination progressive full membrane process to achieve graded filtration and step-by-step desalination. The pre-treatment system intercepts sediment, suspended solids, colloids, residual chlorine, and large particulate impurities, reducing the turbidity and hardness of raw water, protecting the precision membrane system at the back end, and avoiding membrane element pollution and blockage.

By using a reverse osmosis system to remove over 98% of dissolved salts, organic matter, and particulate matter from water, preliminary desalination purification is achieved; Through the deep stripping of residual trace anions and cations by the EDI electric desalination system, without the need for chemical regeneration, the conductivity of the water body is continuously and stably reduced, ultimately producing high-purity desalinated water. The entire process is automated and operates in a cyclic manner, with long-lasting desalination effects and no fluctuations in water quality.

Equipment configuration

The core configuration is as follows:

  • Multi level pretreatment system: integrating quartz sand filtration, activated carbon filtration, water softening, and precision security filtration for four layers of protection, effectively reducing turbidity, residual chlorine, and reducing raw water hardness, and preventing large particle impurities from damaging the back-end membrane components and EDI modules.
  • High pressure boosting system: equipped with a silent and energy-saving high-pressure pump, stable pressure output, low operating noise, controllable energy consumption, suitable for high flow desalination conditions, ensuring continuous and stable inlet pressure of the reverse osmosis system.
  • High precision reverse osmosis desalination system: using anti pollution high flux RO membrane, the desalination rate is stable at ≥ 98%, which can efficiently remove most of the dissolved salts, organic matter, and suspended solids in the water body. It is the core filtration unit of the desalination process.
  • EDI deep precision desalination system: Industrial grade anti pollution EDI module, continuous electric desalination, no need for acid-base regeneration, green and pollution-free, can deeply remove trace ions, greatly improve the purity of desalinated water, and ensure that the effluent water quality meets the standard.
  • Intelligent PLC control system: touch screen fully automatic control, supporting automatic water production, timed membrane flushing, water shortage/high/low pressure overload protection, automatic fault alarm, remote monitoring of core data such as conductivity, water production, water pressure, etc., without the need for dedicated personnel on duty.
  • Anti corrosion and durable body pipeline: The frame, tank body, and water pipeline are made of SS304 stainless steel material, which is corrosion-resistant, rust proof, erosion resistant, and has no secondary pollution. It is suitable for complex working conditions in humid, dusty, acidic and alkaline industries.
  • Optional supporting system: scale inhibition and dosing device, online water quality monitoring, ultraviolet sterilization, and stable pressure water storage system can be installed as needed, suitable for high salt raw water and high standard industrial water scenarios.
