Working principle
The activated carbon filter adopts the dual purification principle of hydraulic infiltration and physical adsorption, and the raw water passes through the activated carbon filter layer uniformly from top to bottom. Relying on high-quality coconut shell/fruit shell activated carbon with a large specific surface area and microporous structure, it firmly locks in residual chlorine, organic matter, color, odor molecules, and tiny suspended solids in water through physical adsorption, interception, and complexation, achieving water quality decolorization, dechlorination, deodorization, and quality improvement.
The equipment is equipped with a fully automatic backwash function, which automatically starts the gas water joint backwash after the operation cycle ends. It loosens and compacts the filter layer, flushes and peels off saturated surface impurities, restores the adsorption flux of activated carbon, avoids filter plate blockage, plate formation, and bacterial and algal growth, and ensures long-term stable filtration effect.
Equipment configuration

- Fully automatic multi way control valve: electric/pneumatic intelligent control valve, automatically completes the entire process of filtration, forward washing, backwashing, and sewage discharge, supports timed and pressure difference dual mode triggered cleaning, and does not require manual operation.
- Pressure monitoring instrument: The front and rear dual pressure gauges monitor the pressure difference inside and outside the tank in real time, accurately determine the blockage status of the filter material, and intuitively grasp the operating conditions of the equipment.
- Optional supporting system: can be equipped with PLC linkage control, air washing auxiliary device, online water quality monitoring, anti-corrosion lining modification, suitable for high organic matter, high chromaticity complex raw water.
